Sam Parnin is a composer from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He currently studies composition with David Dzubay at Indiana University's Jacob's School of Music.

Currently Sam serves as the organist for Arlington United Methodist Church in Bloomington, Indiana. From October 2019 to August 2020 Sam served as the interim organist at Salem United Church of Christ in Fort Wayne.

Sam won the 2019 IMEA Composition Competition and was an honorable mention in the 2019 NAfME Composition Competition. Sam was also a finalist for the Young Composers Challenge in 2018, and was an honorable mention in the 2019 NextNotes High School Composition Competition.
